Overview: The River Chalets are a great starting point for your Canadian Rockies adventure. We are located between Golden, BC, and Lake Louise, Alberta. The Kicking Horse area is home to numerous activities. Paragliding, whitewater rafting, fishing, mountain biking are all offered in our vicinity. Surrounded by lush forests and Canada’s spectacular mountain ranges, you immediately feel that you have found your perfect BC getaway. Cozy up to an evening fire, throw some steaks on the barbeque or wind down in your soaker tub are a few options you have to finish your evening after a day at the skiing, snowmobiling or hiking the surrounding mountains, rafting or fishing on the river, or just absorbing the energy from the impressive mountains.
Chalet Accommodation: We offer large, comfortable cabins in a spectacular location… only twenty minutes east of Golden, BC, in the Canadian Rockies. At the end of your busy day, you can retire to one of our cozy cabins. The chalets have fully equipped kitchens all with a full size fridge, dishwasher, stove, and microwave, including all the basic cooking items you will need to create a rocky mountain feast. In the living room area there is one television with satellite reception and a natural gas fireplace.The chalets are your ideal choice for a Canadian Rockies getaway.
