FAQ RV Rental Canada – USA - ALASKA

Border Crossing Traffic

If you rent from one of our rental stations within the USA or Canada, it is permitted to cross borders and drive within the two countries. Note: Canadian Citizen may not rent within the USA and drive to sCanada or VS. For further information please contact local authorities.

Campground Reservation

If you arrive until 1:00/2:00 pm during the peak season (July & August) you should have no problem at all to secure space on most campgrounds. Thus, some highly frequented scenic spots – usually within the Banff/Jasper/Yoho/Lake Louise National Park Area – are filling up quickly. The same applies if you plan to travel from Canada to the US National Parks such as Olympic, Mount Rainier, Glacier, Yellowstone and Yosemite. Accordingly, we recommend advance online reservation for a marginal service fee through the US or Canada National Park Service. Most credit cards are accepted. If you plan to travel during the off -season we generally do not recommend to pre-secure space. Go as you please and overnight where ever you like. Please Note: we do not provide any campground advance reservation services.

Campgrounds & Fees

At KOA and other privately operated campgrounds the nightly fees are from $10.00 - $25.00 Most of them are providing showers, electrical hook-ups, dump station, swimmingpool, laundry and a small convenience store. The government and/or National Park campground fees are ranging anywhere from $10.00 - $15.00 per night. Most of them are providing a grill / fire pit, tables, outhouse and / or ranger interpretive programs. Please check our separate information on how to make advance reservation for most Canadian/US National Parks.

Convenience Kits

Convenience Kits are including everything you need to make your RV vacation as easy and comfortable as possible: Duvet, Bed Sheet, Pillow Case, Towels, Plates, Cups, Glassware, Knifes, Forks, Spoons, Pots, Pans, Bowls, Bottle Opener, Cutlery, Kettle, Spatula, Thermos, Strainer, Waste Basket, Broom, Shovel, Axe, Cleaning Rag, Rubber Gloves, Flashlight, First Aid Kit, Fire Extinguisher, Scissors, Cutting Board, Cork Screw, Cast Iron Pan. Driving Distances

Please calculate the daily driving distances carefully in order to enjoy your vacation intensively and without being pressured to reach your destination always at a certain time of the day.
