The Taseko is a fast paced river, and soon we find the classed water we have been anticipating! A full day with lunch and afternoon rafting. Camp Night: A beautiful camp along the Taseko River. This camp is special as is all along the Taseko River. We are the only outfitter offering commercial trips on the Taseko at this time, and camps are remote wilderness settings! Comparatively; the Taseko boasts huge advantages and comparisons to other BC rivers and the outfitters claiming competition to the Chilko Taseko Corridors. • The Chilko River is the worlds longest Commercially Insurable rafted run at 14 miles of 3,4 and 5 Whitewater • The Taseko river is comparable but longer. Almost 50 miles of seriously classed 3,4 and 5 Whitewater, with breaks and relief's • The Taseko, however is remote. Very remote, untouched, and under strict ecological reserve standards. It is the last frontier of many rivers in BC’c Interior. Dinner is a delicious treat at camp 1, prepared fresh and served by our river guides who are as much chefs as river runners! With a full river kitchen your holiday comfort is soon realized with the tastes of our specialties on the palette, its time for drinks and fire! As a group we take some time to talk and laugh around the great fire. Soon comes the evenings best surprise…fresh baked desserts served piping hot out of our Dutch oven! As the canyon cools, its time to sleep, as the next day and best day of rafting is yet to come! Final Day Blow Dart, and Beyond! Huge rafting. Nice class 4 and 5 spilling blow-dart rapid offers a challenging segment of water that never seems to end. In fact most of the day 2 is busy running 3 4 and 5 white water. Fulfilled, we find ourselves pulling in to the final take out. Here the group shuttles to the lodge, and enjoys a rejuvenating beverage and atmosphere. Guides join group for dinner.
