Legendary favorite hiking trails in the Canadian Rockies take us into superb alpine country with incredible scenery of cascading mountain peaks and glaciers, delicate flora and fossils of an earlier era. CMS#03 Kananaskis River Rafting / 3 Hours
Our most popular trip, this is a great introduction for families and first-timers to whitewater rafting in the Canadian Rockies. In addition to being the venue for provincial and national whitewater races, the Kananaskis River has also provided the background setting for many movies. This river is dam-controlled with a regulated rate of flow, making for perfect conditions year around. Approximately 12 km/ 7 mi are rafted through Class I-III rapids (beginner to intermediate) and fast moving water. Round trip 3 hr., about 1.75 hr. spent on the water.

CMS#04 Horseshoe Canyon Rafting / 3 Hours
Lower Bow River Intermediate Class 2-4+ rapids. Join us for some whitewater rafting thrills and excitement paddling Class II-IV+ rapids and fast water on the Lower Bow River through the famous Horseshoe Canyon. Try shooting the rapids, bow-riding or surfing the waves! Kids age 12+ are welcome. Located at the edge of the Canadian Rocky Mountains, this trip requires only a short travel distance from Canmore. About 1.5 hr. actual water time, about 3 hr. round trip. Rapids and river levels may vary with seasonal conditions
