Overview: The Waterfront Resort is situated on the shores of picturesque Nimpo Lake, in the heart of the Chilcotin, in central British Columbia, Canada. Access is via scenic and recently paved Highway 20 (Bella Coola Highway) out of Williams Lake. Year-round daily flights operate between Vancouver International Airport and Anahim Lake, 15 minutes to the west of Nimpo Lake. The Waterfront Resort is also home to the Nimpo Lake Float Plane Base. We provide secure docking space and modern refuelling facilities for both through and destination float plane traffic. We have upgraded our fuel storage by means of brand new EnviroTanks and sell both 100 Low Lead as well as 91 octane Mogas. The Nimpo Lake Store is a two minute walk from the Float Plane Base and provides services including a Liquor Store all Fishing Needs as well as a wide variety of grocery lines and souvenirs. There is a laundromat on-site for your convenience. 3 brand new log chalets provide all the modern conveniences in a rustic setting. The Waterfront Resort is also home of the Nimpo Lake Float Plane Base, from which flight-seeing tours and fly-out fishing trips are available. Nimpo Lake is world famous for its rainbow trout fishing. The average size is 2lbs (0.9kg), with an occasional fish to 8lbs (3.2kg). In 1993, Nimpo Lake hosted the Commonwealth Fly Fishing Championship and received a world class rating.
