Overview: Located in the foothills of the spectacular Marble Mountain range, the Ranch House and Cabins are nestled beneath a grove of towering pine trees, overlooking open pastures and the mountains rimming the horizon. The main Lodge is the heart of the ranch, where you will be served great freshly prepared meals, make new friends and trade anecdotes about your day’s adventures, or simply curl up with a good book beside the crackling fire. Or, you may prefer to just kick off your boots and relax with a steaming cup of coffee, made from freshly roasted beans from "Cowboy Coffee", on the spacious covered veranda.
We have four cozy cabins, each tastefully decorated with its own charm and style, furnished with either one queen-sized bed or 3 twin beds (please check on availability when booking; we have 2 cabins each). You will find a range of complimentary toiletries and bathrobes provided in your own private bathroom with shower. The cabins share a spacious veranda, looking out to the Marble Mountain
Horseback Riding: Enjoy peaceful wildlife watch rides, stunning views and fun-filled canters through the gorgeous Cariboo forests. Explore the endless beauty of the Marble Mountain Range foothills. Watch deer and bear, eagle and even moose in their natural habitat, in a wilderness virtually untouched by man. Let rushing streams, breathtaking vistas and an incredible variety of wildflowers transport you into another world, where you can leave your cares and worries behind...Our experienced guides take out small groups of maximum 8 people on selected trails, that are tailored to the riding ability of the group. Novices and experienced riders are equally welcome. You can be confident that we maintain a high level of safety at all times and all our guides are First Aid qualified. Only quality tack and equipment is used to insure your comfort, pleasure and safety. All riders will be assesed on arrival and given the most suitable horse for their level. We offer you morning and afternoon rides (usually 2-3 hours each) and for the more experienced riders we offer all-day rides with pack lunch into the mountains. We have a limited selection of cowboy boots available for your stay on the ranch. Some riding helmets are also available. Bring your camera along and your binoculars, we provide saddle bags for your convenience.
Over 200 miles of trails through thick forest and across high plateaus offer endless possibility for all levels of hikers. The only noise you’ll hear is the trembling of the aspen leaves, the songs of the birds and your own footsteps. You likely come across some interesting birds, rare wildflowers and a variety of wildlife.
