4/6 Day Dave Henry Lodge / Hut-to-Hut Hiking
HT#20 Mount Robson
Overview: Cradled among subalpine meadows and lakes on the boundary of Mount Robson Provincial Park, Dave Henry Lodge at a elevation of 2000 m (6000 ft) provides a sunny exposure and a spectacular view. Surrounded by magnificent peaks, miles of gentle meadows and alpine basins, guests have an easy time enjoying their stay at the lodge. We plan daily hikes or rides for our guests during their stay. Feeling the need for a less strenuous day?   Stroll through the natural meadows around the lodge, or wander over to the lake with your fishing rod. Upstairs, we can accommodate up to 10 people. There is a large semi-divided room; one side with two double beds and the other with a long sleeping platform and a futon. All guests bring their own sleeping bags unless prior arrangements are made. The lodge and sauna are wood-heated. There is a propane cookstove with oven, and propane lights in the kitchen and dining areas.

Day Hikes Hike to Rainbow Valley, Emerald Ridge, or Alpland Ridge, areas as beautiful as their colorful names suggest. On a clear day, you can hike to panoramic viewpoints. Mount Robson, unmistakable by its profile and size, looms above surrounding peaks and is sure to be a photo focal point. There are two cabins - one for cooking and dining, and the other for sleeping. They will accommodate 8 people comfortably. There is wood heat and propane lamps and cookstove. Hut-to-Hut Hiking Our location on Swift Creek is about 15 km. north of Dave Henry Lodge. In the trees at the bottom of a gentle basin, these cabins are situated so guests can follow open glades to the alpine - lots of big alpine!
