RENTAL STATIONS: VANCOUVER #4, CALGARY #4, Calgary #1

All rates are including a $5.0 million public liability and property damage insurance . A deductible of $3.000.00 applies for collision, fire, vandalism and theft. Customers can purchase a VIP coverage for $18.00 per day which reduces the deductible from $3.000.00 to $300.00 Some exceptions apply.

With purchase of VIP (Vacation Interruption Protection) Security/Damage Deposits is also reduced from $3000.00 to $500.00. Winter season renters are responsible for full costs for unit freezing damages - not covered by insurance.

VIP covers incurred expenses of up to the daily rental rate paid by the renter in case of mechanical breakdown of the vehicle requiring more than 12 hours to repair. Mechanical breakdown does not include malfunction of the radio, air conditioner(s), generator, cruise control, or breakdown due to an accident. The refund is limited to $1500.00 or the daily rental rates paid, whichever is less. The company is not responsible for hotel charges, car rental, or other incidental or consequential costs in the event of a breakdown or accident.

Accidents must be reported immediately and be accompanied by a written accident report and a police file number.

Expenses arising from an accident do not apply.

Coverage excludes liability for loss of personal property.

Client is also responsible for all damages if vehicle is driven by an unauthorized driver or driver under the influence of alcohol/drugs.

In the event of an accident all insurance coverage including VIP coverage is void (regardless of whether Renter is at fault or not), if accident is not immediately reported to police and to the company., and all claims must be submitted with a complete written driver’s report.

Travel in Restricted Areas

Restricted areas include not public and logging roads, travel in Mexico, all roads in the Yukon and Northwest Territories, the Alaska Highway north of Fort St. John, Cassiar Highway north of Kitwanga, Highway 35 north of Peace River and Death Valley in June, July and August. The VIP (Vacation Interruption Protection) is void if this rule is violated and customer is responsible for all damages to vehicle, tires and towing costs as a result of breakdown associated with operating in these areas. There is a $1.000.00 penalty for unauthorized travel in these areas.

Security Deposit

Rentals with VIP require a $500.00 security deposit. At departure, an open credit card authorization is taken. Security deposits can be made by credit card. Deposits are refunded when the vehicle is returned in a clean, undamaged condition.

Repairs/Maintenance

The company features the newest fleet in the industry! However, in the unlikely event that a mechanical failure occurs, clients are authorized to proceed with necessary repairs up to $100.00. Clients must receive verbal authorization to proceed with necessary repairs above $100.00. For reimbursement please return replaced parts to the rental station. Clients are fully responsible for damage to tires. Please check oil, coolant and tire pressure at each refueling. Upon presentation of receipts, costs for oil will be reimbursed. Unless clients have purchased VIP, they are fully responsible for all additional expenses created by mechanical breakdown of the vehicle. The company will refund the daily gross rate or portion thereof if the breakdown is longer than 12 hours.
