This 115 acre ranch is located in a beautiful setting around Voyageur Bay of Ootsa Lake near Burns Lake, Smithers. The bay is well known for its abundance of Kokanee trout and trophy Rainbow trout. Guests are welcome to try their luck fishing the waters of Ootsa with fishing boats and tackle available for rent. The main attractions offered by the ranch are canoeing & sea kayaking adventures with hiking components into North Tweedsmuir Park. We offer guided adventures, unguided & outfitted adventures or just boat rentals and/or watertaxis. The main ranch building features the kitchen and dining room as well as the washroom and showers. Overlooking the bay, the guest cabins are located three minutes from the lodge. They are newly built and sleep up to eight guests. They are equipped with a loft sleeping four on mattresses, 4 bunk beds, closets, kitchen cupboards, table and chairs, propane cooker and lights, a wash basin, wood heater and a veranda. An outhouse is located approx. 50 meters from the cabins. |

LRCC #06 Lodge
Bowron Lakes |

The Lodge is located 120 km east of Quesnel, directly on Bowron Lake and was built in 1933 as a "headquarters" for guiding outfitters. The main building has been carefully restored and maintained to protect the historic integrity of the building. The lodge is situated on a bluff about 100 ft directly above Bowron Lake, with a fantastic view of the snowcapped Cariboo Mountains in the background. Around the lodge you will find cabins, bungalows and chalets available for rent. Enjoy the good food in our lake view restaurant. Stay a few days and enjoy a hike in the surrounding mountains, spend a day in Barkerville Historic Town or relax around the lodge - swim in Bowron Lake or sunbathe on the beach. Take a leisurley walk to Kibbee Lake, try your luck at fishing, or do some hands-on gold panning at a local claim. You can go horseback riding or rent a canoe and go paddling for a day. Amenities and service includes general store, transportation to the park registration centre, safekeeping of valuables, storage of luggage, canoe instruction for beginners, weigh station for scaling your gear. |

The Waterfront Resort is situated on the shores of picturesque Nimpo Lake, in the heart of the Chilcotin Country. Easy access via scenic and recently paved Highway 20, 280 Km west of Williams Lake. Year-round daily flights operate between Vancouver and Anahim Lake, 15 minutes to the west of Nimpo Lake. The Waterfront Resort is also home to the Nimpo Lake Float Plane Base.
