LRRM #09 Lodge
|
Jun 15 – Sept 15 |
The Lodge was founded by Canadian Pacific Railway in 1922 and is located near the Vermillion Pass, just 15 minutes outside of Banff and Lake Louise. In the lodge you'll find a licensed restaurant and lounge comfortably located around a magnificent rock fireplace. Guests can relax around a roaring fire in the main lodge and enjoy a moment of kinship with the many great explorers of the Canadian Rockies who once passed this way. In the restaurant experience delicious home cooked Canadian cuisine prepared by our resident chef. Baked goods, soups and desserts are made fresh daily. You can dine with us in the lodge or enjoy our home cooked meals in the warmth and charm of your own cabin. There are 14 original log cabins constructed in the early 1920's. The cabins are well-spaced for privacy on a forested site with spectacular views. The cabin décor is of the highest quality, yet still reflects the rustic, historic charm of a heritage cabin in a remote mountain setting. We invite you to relax in comfort around a wood burning stone fireplace, soak in our antique clawfoot tubs adorned with brass fixtures, then settle into a hand-crafted queen log bed under a down duvet. |
