Multi Day Snowmobile Tours Purcell Mountains |
Powder filled days exploring the backcountry of the Purcell Mountains located on the edge of the Canadian Rockies. The accommodations are at our Vowel Creek Lodge located at the base of the Conrad Glacier Ice Cap. There will be many glorious days and cozy nights in back country accommodations from which you can snowmobile, snow shoe, cross country ski, ice fish or just relax in the ambiance of the “Canadian West”. It's your chance to go where few have gone before and to try something that you have only dreamed of! The Vast valleys of wilderness carved out by our mighty glaciers, the forested trails, our high alpine bowls and the frozen lakes with plenty of North American Wildlife make this a unique vacation; you will never forget! |

Five powder-filled days, exploring the backcountry of the Purcell Mountains. The first night accommodations are at Panorama Mountain Village and the next three nights are at the Vowel Creek Lodge. This trip is the snowmobilers dream! Five days of deep mountain powder and four nights of cozy backcountry accommodation make this a trip of a lifetime. It's your chance to go where few have gone before and to try something that you have only dreamed of! |

Time to get equipped for your snowmobile adventure! We will meet at our Panorama location and review the use of your snow machines, and all of your safety equipment. There will be a short training period and a full day at Paradise Mine area. Accommodations are at Panorama Mountain Village (Double Occupancy). The lodge is located on the edge of the Bugaboo Park approx 70 km from civilization - "Vast Wilderness". |

There will be a short transfer by van to the Bugaboo staging area. The Snowmobile ride is approx 60 km to the Vowel Creek Lodge at the base of the Conrad Glacier Ice Cap where we will be greeted by your hosts. Our lodge is comfortable and cozy! The perfect place to call your home away from home for the next three nights! While at the lodge you'll enjoy hearty tasty meals and a warm comfortable and relaxed environment! Feel free if you have had enough snowmobiling for the day and just want to relax, read a book or go for a snow shoe the options are endless. It's your holiday! |

Now that you have the hang of things we're going to set you loose! It's time to go exploring the valley and get a taste of the mountain air. Oh the stories you'll tell when you get home! Approx 100-200 km. With names like Silent Pass and The Valley of the Lakes you will be surrounded by the most beautiful terrain this country has to offer! Remember to bring your camera! |

Well, it's not over yet! A 200 km expedition over Mountains, lakes, Forested trails to a World Class Snowmobiling area called Silent Pass. You will be challenged with terrain you never thought you'd get a chance to ride in your entire life. Approx 200 km The Columbia Mountains have one of the most diverse selections of big game in North America. Mountain caribou, elk, moose, deer, big horn sheep and mountain goats abound. Keep your eyes peeled! |

Well it's almost over, but there's still one day left to get the last thrills (and spills!) in before we pack up and head home. There will be a special dinner at one of the fine Restaurants in town. Approx 60-100 km |

This is orientation day. Time to get equipped for your snowmobile adventure! We will review the use of your snow machine, and all of your safety equipment. We will go over basic riding technique and then we head for the backcountry. |

It's time to PLAY! We're going high and deep to find the best play fields for you to enjoy! Time to see what that snowmobile can really do! This is really getting away form it all! |

Now that you have the hang of things we'regoing to set you loose! It's time to enjoy the incredible opportunity to play in Canada's most secluded and coveted playground! Oh the stories you'll tell when you get home! The Columbia Mountains have one of the most diverse selections of big game in North America. Mountain caribou, elk, moose, deer, big horn sheep and mountain goats abound. Keep your eyes peeled! In the late afternoon we return to Radium Hot Springs. |
