Overview: The lodge is situated on 70 secluded acres within Barklay Sound on the scenic West Coast of Vancouver Island. Barkley Sound and its Broken Island Group are providing a classic wildernesss vacation with excellent fishing, kayaking and wildlife observation opportunities. Access to the lodge is by air or water taxi only. The lodge is classified with 4 **** stars and provides: Gift Shop, Library, Pool Table, Games Room, Sauna, Hot Tub, TV, Internet Access, Restaurant, Bar, Spa, Kayak Rental, Rain Gear, Laundry Service. The lodge experienced executive chef prepares superb West Coast Cuisine.
Activities: Explore the world famous Broken Island Group by Kayak and see amazing rock outcroppings, gorgeous beaches and a lot of wildlife such as Bald Eagles, Deer, Heron and Whales. Other opportunities are salt water fishing - Coho/Chinook Salmon May & June, Sockeye Salmon July, King Salmon from July September, Halibut year around, rainforest hikes of up to 5 Km, beachcombing and helicopter excursions.
