All this is made possible by the unique geographic location of the ranch. To the east of Echo Valley Ranch & Spa is the Marble Range and Edge Hill mountains, to the south is the Fraser Canyon with near desert conditions, to the west are grasslands and to the north a Cariboo plateau with countless lakes and marsh lands. It is known as a continuum of four distinct biomes and supports a multitude of ecosystems with varied animal, fauna and bird life. All of this within reach of a 5-mile radius of the Ranch.
The Cariboo Spa is an intimate, multi-room spa offering a full range of classic, Thai and modern European treatments and refinement services. These include facials, herbal aromatherapy massages and steam baths, hydrotherapy, detoxifying body wraps, scrubs, manicures, pedicures and hair styling. Services are available as part of a package and on an a la carte basis. A comfortable lounge, with fireplace, invites guests to relax between appointments and sense the peace of well being. The Baan Thai Spa embraces Sabai Sabai, a traditional Thai lifestyle of mind, body and spirit, which encompasses the ancient wisdom of Thai healing rituals and herbal products. These include treatments such as authentic Thai massage, Luk Pra Kob Herbal Rejuvenation Ritual, and Din So-Pong White Thai Mud Wraps. Delivered by professionally trained therapists from Thailand, these treatments have been known for thousands of years for their medicinal and healthful properties. They are recognized to complement, even enhance, western approaches to medicine, and are considered an essential component to Thai wellness practices. These therapies are best experienced in the Baan Thai's Sabai Sabai Spa. With its atmosphere of harmony for the body, mind and soul, this is a sanctuary for the senses from soothing Thai music, to air that is fragrant with specially blended oils, herbs and spices. Many of these have been sourced from rural origins, and imported for our exclusive use. The Spa is adorned with Thai silks, teak, and ornaments, and includes a mineral mountain-mist herbal steam bath and jet shower, as well as a hydrotherapy bathtub. The Sala Thai (outside patio) becomes the perfect place for relaxation or a private Thai spa cuisine lunch. It's an ideal spot for meditation, and to practice Ruesri Dat Ton, a gentle form of self-stretching health exercise. Ruesri Dat Ton has been practised in Thailand for thousands of years, and is appropriate for all ages and abilities.
Horseback Riding: Set amidst some of Western Canada's most spectacular landscapes-from canyons of desert sagebrush to forested trails, Echo Valley offers some of the most enriching horseback riding experiences in the Cariboo ... year round. Whether you're a skilled rider or a novice, Echo Valley's professional wranglers can customize your riding experience with as much of the 'Wild West' as you would like.

Accommodation: The "Dove Lodge" is of log construction with six spacious guest bedrooms each with a private ensuite bathroom. The rooms have queen-sized beds complimented with cozy duvet covers, fluffy pillows; unique country lamps, hardwood floors and plush throw carpets. All rooms offer spectacular views through large picture windows, and four have private balconies. All guest dine in the Dove Lodge which has an welcoming dining room and sitting area with fireplace, large games room, sauna and outdoor hot tub. The lodge is constructed of large logs that are over 100 years old. The "Look-out Lodge" has nine large bedrooms each with a private four piece ensuite bathroom, including bathtub. The rooms have king sized beds that can separate into two double beds. Four bedrooms have lofts and all are complimented to the same high standards as the Dove Lodge. Each bedroom has a mini bar and coffee making machine. The lodge has two common sitting areas, both of which are tastefully furnished and decorated with Native art. The main floor sitting area has a fireplace and an eight-foot totem pole. Out door decks surround the building. All of the rooms offer spectacular views, and four have private balconies.
