BC Guest Ranches 4 Days / 3 Nights

Overview: One of the best things about the Guest Ranch is that you can thoroughly enjoy all four seasons. Wildlife abounds and you just might see black bear, coyote, fox, marmot, moose, mule deer, whitetail deer and timber wolf. Children of all ages will enjoy the menagerie of ranch animals - cats, dogs, rabbits, pigs, chickens, sheep, pygmy goats and, of course, the horses. And after a hard day in the saddle, or just to treat yourself, you can indulge in a full range of esthetic services, plus massage and reflexology therapies. These services can be provided in the lodge's treatment room or in the privacy of your cabin. Please arrange for these services when you book your stay with us.
Horseback Riding: We cater to individual abilities from amateur to accomplished, and we take great care to match you with the proper horse for the duration of your stay. We can also provide instruction at any time. Groups are led by an experienced wrangler and consist of a maximum of six riders matched according to ability. Experience the thrill of riding across miles of varied terrain and exploring the spectacular South Cariboo scenery. Choose a morning and afternoon ride with lunch at the lodge in between, or set out for the day with saddlebags packed for lakeside dining. Canoeing:Head down to the aquatic centre at Montana Lake for boating, canoeing and swimming. A 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk will have you at the waterfront. Birdwatching, Hiking and Photography: Especially in the early summer, wildflowers carpet the grassland with a virtual explosion of color. A nearby Ducks Unlimited project is a birdwatcher's paradise, and photographers will find an abundance of subjects, both living and still, to capture with their lenses. Fishing: If you're an angler, there is no shortage of lakes in which to test your luck. In fact, there are 125 within an hour's drive! Boat, float tubes, rods, reels and professional guiding are also available. Highway 24, known as the Fishing Highway, is a destination for fly fishermen from around the world. Other Activities: ATV rentals and go-kart racing are minutes away. Bison ranch tours, golf and whitewater rafting are all within an hour drive.
Accommodation: Pure luxury in the country best describes the lodge resting at the top of a hill. When you cross the threshold, you'll feel right at home in an atmosphere of welcoming comfort. Wander inside and cozy up beside an impressive river rock fireplace, or take advantage of the games room and 51-inch video screen. Relax on the spacious deck and look out on seemingly endless rolling hills and pine forests. And after a day of adventure, there is no better place to unwind than in the hot tub for a long soak under the stars. Each two-bedroom cabin has one Queen and two Twin beds. Sink into cozy goose-down duvets and high-thread count, 100 percent cotton sheets. Combined with the fresh air and absolute quiet, we dare you to stay awake! Limited-edition artwork decorates the walls, and a rocking chair by the window invites you to curl up with your favorite book. A three-piece bath contains luxurious cotton towels, bathrobes, hair dryers, soaps and shampoo, and soft, treated water.Other features include a small refrigerator, desk, and gas fireplace
